At N3FYI, survivability, disaster recovery, and off-grid capability are core priorities. We are committed to leveraging available technologies to achieve these objectives.
8-15-25 – 7 Starlink Kits have been purchased and are activated on a special low bandwidth data plan. These units will be deployed to the following locations:
-Truce/Lancaster Main Site
-Reeser’s Summit
-Summit Station
-Honeybrook
-Tioga/Blossburg
-N3FYI Home (Lancaster DC)
-LRTS Clubsire (Cornwall)

LRTS Clubsire (Cornwall) ASL node has been connected to Starlink and is entirely off-grid capable now with solar, battery and generator power available. These repeaters are now certified off-grid capable.

Truce/Lancaster Main Site has had Starlink installed as a backup internet connection. 44net routable IP has been assigned to ASL node via a tunnel provided by N3FE. All remote sites have had a redundant route configured to fail over to the ASL server via starlink if/when Frontier Fiber fails. This site is now certified off-grid capable.
